Meet The Young Doctor Who Defeated Tuberculosis And Now Runs Marathons
In this episode of Doctors on Call, we talk about TB and also share an inspiring story of a doctor who was diagnosed with XDR TB (Extensively Drug Resistant TB) at the age of 20. From being on the brink of extreme TB, Saurabh Rane fought back and is now running marathons. He advocates for the right of every person to be diagnosed and treated correctly and for life-saving drugs to be provided in a timely manner to those in need, and narrated the story of his bounce back.
