Dr Sodhi did his undergraduate work in Shimla and medical school at Indira Gandhi medical college in Shimla. After a brief stint in PGI Chandigarh, he proceeded to United Kingdom and worked at Royal Berkshire hospital in Reading United Kingdom. Then moving to United States he did his Internal Medicine residency at University of Pennsylvania, Presbyterian Medical Center also serving as a clinical instructer there. He did his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Temple University hospital in Philadelphia. At present he is in private practice in Wisconsin USA. His research interests include hepatitis, colon cancer and all general gastroenterology. He has also done a Master's degree in Health Management from University of London.
