Dr Prakash Khanduri did his undergraduate and post-graduate medical studies at the Christian Medical College, Vellore and served on its faculty for many years eventually becoming Professor and Head of Department of Surgery.
He was trained in Liver Transplantation at the Medical College of Richmond, and helped to develop the Liver Transplant programme at the Christian Medical College, Vellore.
His area of special interest is Gastro-Intestinal surgery and Liver Transplantation. Currently he is a senior consultant GI surgeon at St Stephen's Hospital and senior honorary surgeon at Pushapawati Singhania Research Institute for liver, renal and digestive diseases.
