Dr Chinari P K Subudhi

Dr Pradeep Subudhi is a Consultant Medical Microbiologist at Hope Hospital in Manchester (UK). He did his MBBS from M.K.C.G. Medical College, Berhampur in Orissa and MD in Medical Microbiology from Madras Medical College. He completed his higher specialist training in Medical Microbiology and Virology in Manchester and obtained the MRCPath (UK). He is a receiver of 6 gold medals and several awards for his academic performance in MBBS examinations.
He has special interest in infections in critical care, infective endocarditis, surgical infections, diabetic foot infections, fungal infections, infections in immunocompromised and antibiotic resistance.
He won the Pfizer Postgraduate Medical Award and Pfizer Medallion in Medicine for being the Best outgoing student of Berhampur University. He also won the AMGEN Medal and Prize (2004) from Manchester Medical Society for Best Research paper presentation. Association of Medical Microbiologists (AMM,UK) Research Bursary also awarded him for his research project titled Fungal peritonitis in patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD).
