Dr Ravi Singareddy is an Assistant Professor in the Sleep Research and Treatment Center and Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma Research Program of Department of Psychiatry at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine), Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology), and Sleep Medicine (American Board of Sleep Medicine). He specialises in management of sleep disorders such as Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, other Hypersomnias, Parasomnias, Insomnias including Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorders and sleep disturbances secondary to medical and psychiatric disorders.
In addition, his interests include interactive effects of medical and psychiatric disorders. He is also involved in treating major psychiatric disorders such as mood and anxiety disorders including Treatment Resistant Depression, Panic Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, and other mood and anxiety disorders. He also conducts research pertaining to Sleep, Mood & Anxiety Disorders. He is currently conducting clinical trials for sleep disturbances in panic disorder and vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) in treatment resistant depression (TRD).
