Dr Seema Taneja Gupta is a consultant Orthodontist In New Delhi. She has done her M.D.S. (Orthodontics) from the Goveronment Dental College and Hospital, Ahemdabad. She is a Gold Medallist in Operative Dentistry & Endodontics and Paedodontics (Child & Trauma Dentistry).
She started the Orthodontic Clinic in Delhi Dental Centre, South Extension, in 1989 and worked as the Orthodontic Consultant till 1991. Since then she is running her own Orhtodontic & Dental Centre at Friends Colony, Delhi. She is also a Consultant Orthodontist to Incisor Dental Clinic, Faridabad and Agarwal Eye & Dental Care, NOIDA. She is specially trained in Begg’s Technique of Orthodontics, Myofacial Therapy for growth correction of Jaws and other removable appliances. She also has a special experience in handling Pre and Post Surgical Cleft Lip and Palate cases for Jaw Expansion Appliances and Feeding Appliances, and other Maxillofacial Appliances like Obturators, Nasal Prosthesis etc. All the Cleft Lip and Palate cases were treated in co-ordination with the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burns, BJ Medical College & Hospital, Ahemdabad, working as special assistant to Prof. and Head Dr Anil Chadha. She is also practicing Straight Wire Technique for Orthodontics. In General Dentistry all procedures like Root Canal Treatment, Crown & Bridge work, Aesthetic Dentistry, Smile Designing & Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Trauma, Impactions, Gum Surgery & Splinting, Laser Therapy, Dental Implants etc. are practiced routinely by her. She took special interest as Committee Member in organising the 'World Orhtodontic Conference' held in New Delhi in February 1997.
