Dr Ajay Sharma graduated from SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He did his Urology Training from BHU, Varanasi for the degree of M.Ch. in 1991. Later, he worked as a chief resident in the Renal Transplant Unit at the Institute of Kidney Diseases, Ahmedabad. He did clinical research on blunt abdominal trauma and on vesico-vaginal fistula.
He was trained in Laparoscopic urologic surgery in Cleveland Clinic, OHIO, USA in 2002. In 2005, he worked in Institut Mutuliste Montsuris, Paris, for training in Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy for prostate cancer.
Dr Sharma is Senior consultant at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the department of Urology. Besides Laparoscopic surgery, his special ability is endourology.
