1. Aerobic exercises of all types



Aerobic Exercises are characterised by excessive inhalation and exhalation of air in order to replenish body's oxygen need. Brisk walking, dancing, bike riding and dancing, all of these fall under aerobic exercise.

These exercises improve your blood flow which supports sexual arousal. According to health experts, it also increases lung capacity and cardiac endurance for sustaining sexual activities as long as you want.



2. Pilates and yoga to build core muscles

Pilates and Yoga works amazingly well in building your core muscles and so are likely to benefit sexual activity. Women have reported anecdotally that these methods have helped them. A 2010 study has shown that Pilates improved pelvic muscle strength in women with little or no functional problem.

Furthermore, a recent yoga research said that women enrolled in 12-week yoga program significantly improved sexual functions in all categories: desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm and satisfaction.

You can do Pilates by just lying face-up on your mat and lifting your neck, head and one of the legs up right. Make sure you stretch your legs as much as you can and breathe in between to get better results. You can also perform the Sun-salutation Yoga exercise on everyday basis to boost of sex life multiple ways.

3. Floor exercises to improve flexibility

There are many floor exercises which are not complex and can be easily performed at home. While lying on your back, try doing pelvic arches, lower body lifts and thigh stretches.

In order to support your body weight during sex, you can do a simple floor exercise by lying on the floor with your face turned downwards and a couple of push-ups. Make sure you keep your lower leg bent on the mat or carpet )

4. Kegel exercises

Kegel exercises are known for improving urinary incontinence in both women and men, but these exercises may help women reach orgasm and increase sexual functioning.

In order to perform this exercise at home, tighten your pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction for around 5 seconds and then relax for 5 seconds. Try this for 4-5 times in a row. In order to garner better results, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles. And make sure that you don't flex your muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks.
