As many as 37 new cases of swine flu were reported in Delhi on Friday taking the total number of infected people in the capital to 772.

Delhi Health Minister Kiran Walia reported that samples of another 37 cases were reported positive for H1N1 Influenza by the NICD (National Institute of Communicable Diseases). Total patients admitted till date across all designated hospitals are 722 out of which 661 have been treated and discharged.

The State Health Ministry says that the situation is under control and sixty-one cases are under treatment at various hospitals of which 16 are admitted in hospitals and the rest are being treated at home.

Of the 37 new cases of H1N1 influenza, five each were identified in Ram Manohar Lohia and Lal Bahadur Shastri hospitals, one each in Hindu Rao, Safdarjung, Lok Nayak and Sanjay Gandhi hospitals and three each in Guru Tegh Bahadur and GB Pant hospitals.
