The child's uncle motivated her parents to donate the her organs. After the family gave their consent, the Mohan Foundation, an NGO, got involved and the baby was shifted to Innova Hospital in Secunderabad.
The baby's heart valves and eyes were retrieved under sterile conditions.
NGO's CEO said such neonatal donors give a fresh lease of life to many unfortunate children who are born with heart diseases.
