Dehydrated skin can lead to a dull and dry appearance. Watermelons have high water content which help to keep the skin hydrated and moisturized. Watermelon contains several antioxidants that help defy the signs of ageing on the skin and, therefore, making it look firmer, younger and healthier. The seeds of watermelon are also beneficial as they contain unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid that keep the skin elastic and youthful.
Pineapple does wonders to clear your skin. It is a low-calorie fruit that is rich in fibre and vitamin C. The vitamin C in pineapple juice is a very effective acne treatment. It is one of the best sources of anti-oxidants. The anti-oxidants not only boost your immunity but also help to keep your skin and body feel and look younger.
