A:An X-ray will be needed to examine bone condition where teeth need to be implanted. In case of the bridge, condition of the adjacent teeth which will support the bridge needs to be checked. Implant involves one surgery initially, followed by a second surgery 3-6 months later to open the implant and then the prosthesis. This is more costly but preferable. The bridge gets done in two or three sittings, 7-10 days apart. This is less costly and is also good. Either choice is good. Go to a good prosthodontist in your city and let him/her guide you.
