Q: I have lupus, fibromyalgia and spondylosis. I have been told that I cannot donate blood. Why is this so? What does it do? Is it dangerous to me or the one needing the blood? Please let me know.
A:Most collagen disorders are associated with anaemia and therefore, it is not safe for patients having these disorders to donate blood.
