Writer's cramps in children
Q: Should I be concerned with my 8 year old daughters writers cramp? She is home schooled but does not do any more writing than most kids in public school. Is this something that children usually get?
A:Usually writers cramps occur at much later age like after 20 yrs or so. It can occur at 8 yrs of age also but is uncommon. You need to consult a neurologist for more accurate diagnosis. If you have already done so then just wait and watch with periodic checkups.
