When will I start feeling baby kicks?
Q: I am a 21 years old female into my nineteenth week of pregnancy. I haven't yet felt any baby kicks, only a few sensations while sleeping and changing sides. But, my doctor told me that I would feel the kicks after 2 weeks. Day before yesterday I took a famotidine 20 due to gas problems. Is this harmful for me and my child?
A:You start feeling the kicks in the fifth/sixth month of pregnancy (varies from patient to patient), but you will not feel the kick every day. Taking famotidine occasionally is OK but you should not take it regularly.
