When can the cardiac activity of embryo be detected?
Q: I am a 30 years old lady. I am 52 days pregnant. My ultrasound report states that the placenta is good but no cardiac activity is yet shown. After how many days of pregnancy can the ultrasound detect the cardiac activity of the baby?
A:Most high resolution, good ultrasound machines can detect the heart pulsation at 6 weeks of pregnancy.
