What has to be done for a small uterus in pregnancy?
Q: My wife is 20 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Her gynaecologist said that her uterus is small. He has advised to go for a small surgery i.e. he will put stitches on the uterus to hold the baby. Will there be any complication during the delivery? Is it going to be a premature delivery? What precautions do we have to take after the small surgery?
A:Cervix is short, therefore cervical of tightening has to be done. You might go for a premature delivery. After the short surgery she has to take rest, no exertion etc.
