Q: I was diagnosed with cancer of the lungs, so chemotherapy (Dexotel-120 mg) was administered by the doctors. In course of a routine checkup after three years, the doctors prescribed me to take Geftinat-250 mg. During the intake of this medicine a large number of wounds cropped up so the doctors advised Cetirizine twice daily. Why did this happen?

A:Geftinat is the brand name; the name of the medicine is gefitinib. Its most common side effect is on the skin in the form of rash, pruritis, pustules and erythema. Cetirizine is for allergy.
