Q: I had myself tested after 13 weeks from my last sexual exposure. I had unprotected sexual intercourse with my girlfriend on the first day of her menstruation. She too had herself tested after 7 weeks and was negative. Do I need to get tested again after 13 weeks, given my situation?

A:The chances of your having HIV infection are slim but you can be 100% sure only if you stay negative after one year of your last unprotected casual sexual intercourse.
