A:Individual Medical Insurance policies do not provide for maternity benefits (normal or caesarean) under the policy terms. But in case a group policy is issued, maternity benefits can be provided on payment of extra premium. A group policy is issued when there is a pre-defined group viz employees in an organisation, credit card customers/account holders of a particular bank etc. You may find out in case such a policy is available for your organisation.
