Q: Is there any probiotic brand containing Bifidobacterium longum? There is one called Bifilin from Cipla but I am not getting it at my chemist.

A:Bifilin brand contains many organisms such as Lactobacillus acidophillus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium bifidus, Streptococcus thermophillus, Saccharomyces boulardii. The brand is in the market; may be not in your area. In any case you can take any other brand that contains lactobacilli such as Lactisyn, Sporlac etc. These brands are quite similar though not identical but serve the same purpose.
