Q: I would like to know where I can obtain information on dental care in India for U.S. citizens. I have a friend who had undergone surgery at the Bangalore hospital. She told me the care she received was better than any hospital in the U.S. at a fraction of the cost. I would like some information on dental care?

A:India has many high quality dental clinics which can provide state of the art dental care to any citizen. But most of them are located in Metropolitan cities only. Please write to me regarding the city where you plan to visit then it will be easy for me to give you the information. For example, in Delhi there are 3 dental clinics which are accredited by American Embassy for dental treatment and annual check up of their employees. Similarly there are few in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Calcutta etc. Apart from these accredited ones there are more which have similar standard of care.
