How to control diabetes?
Q: My mother was a diabetes, hyper tention with heart problem (of chest pain) and the treatment is going and her health is stable. recently we come to know that she have catract in both of the eyes. the doctor (eye specialist) told to come for the operation after her sugar come to normal. but sincs 3 months sugar has not come to the normal ,we consult to the deabatolgiest but yet her sugar was not in control.she is taking the medicin (Dionil,Glycomat,ogoly, tablets)for sugar control.sir please advice me for the said request!
A:Control of diabetes requires not only medicines but also diet and exercise. You should your mother to a diabetes specialist so that she can get the best advise. In addition to controlling her diabetes, she needs to meet a cardiologist to obtain control of her BP and cardiac problem.
