How long does an AIDS patient live?
Q: How long does an HIV positive person live without any medication? Will AIDS lead to a very painful death
A:No one can say exactly how long can a person with HIV live. Generally persons live quite a long time, and most of this time they are well, healthy and quite able to earn a living and function normally. Half the persons who get HIV infection are still living and well 9 years later. This period can be increased if a person lives a regulated life with good nutrition and gets all common diseases treated. The death in AIDS is generally due to some infection, and the signs and symptoms depend upon the precise nature of the illness that has occurred.
