Eyes red
Q: From past 7 to 8 years my eyes are red. Whenever I go out in the sun it will become more red .I had showed it to many doctors they are saying that blood will come in your eyes.and this will get cured as you grow older.I had useD differant medicines but it did not got less. So please tell me how can I control the redness of my eyes.
A:You have a chronic non-specific congestionwhich worsens on exposure. The cause may be a dry eye, chronicconjunctivitis, trachoma, allergies, meibomian, gland dysfunction, etc.The patient should use mild decongestant eyedrops with lubricants & wearquality UV-blocking sunglasses when outdoors. A cold water wash twice daily may prove useful.
