Do I need to get my child's decayed teeth extracted?

Q: My daughter is 3 years old. She has some dental problems. Her front 2 teeth are decayed; is it advisable to remove them? If yes, then is this done under anaesthesia? If we don't remove them, will they decay the neighbouring teeth as well? Also, there are gaps between some teeth, do we need to get this filled?

A:The front teeth should be saved if possible or else she would have to use space maintainers for which she is too young. If she has fillings then they should be done to avoid further decay.
