Can sexual relations with multiple partners lead to AIDS?

Q: Recently I visited the Osho Ashram in Pune. I checked the list of iterates, which included the AIDS test as well. If a person has unprotected sex (without condom) with multiple partners and none of them have AIDS, is it possible that he will be affected with AIDS?

A:For HIV transmission to take place through sex, one of the partners has to have HIV infection. This is applicable to all kinds of sexual activities. However, how can anyone be sure about being HIV negative without a blood test? There is no other way to find out if some one is infected with HIV.
