Can Ecosprin-75 and Maxepa be taken together?
Q: Can Ecosprin-75 and Maxepa be taken together for thinning the blood?
A:Maxepa is meant to lower high triglycerides. It can interact with blood thinning medicines like warfarin and cause bleeding. The mechanism of action of Ecospirin (aspirin) 75mg is different from warfarin. However, one should be cautious while taking the two products concurrently should any bleeding occur because Maxepa itself can cause bleeding.
