Can AIDS get transmitted through bleeding gums?

Q: I am a 23 years old boy. I have a doubt related to HIV. It is said that sharing food with an HIV positive person doesnt transmit AIDS. But what if while eating some blood gets mixed with the food because of bleeding gums. Can this cause AIDS?

A:The chances of such a thing happening are very remote. Even if it happens, the virus will get inactivated in the stomach, due to highly acidic juices present there.
