Will LASIK surgery help me correct my vision?

Q: I am a 25 years old male. Kindly check the below readings and suggest the best possible solution with no-side effects and approximate cost.

Right Eye:

  • SPH:-14
  • CYL:-1.75
  • AXIS:10.0
  • V/A: 6/9

Left Eye:
  • SPH:-11.0
  • CYL:-1.75
  • AXIS:170.0
  • V/A: 6/9

Will LASIK surgery help me?

A:I need further information to decide:

  • K readings
  • Corneal thickness
  • Schirmers test results
  • Endo AC depth

However, in general, as your powers are higher, ICL is a better option, as it gives natural vision unlike Lasik for that high power. Also, ICL does not disturb corneal thickness, and has no ectasia risks.
