Why is there ringing sound in my left ear?
Q: I have a constant ringing sound in my left ear for the past 8-9 months. Are there any home remedies for this?
A:Constant ringing in one ear warrants investigation to rule out hearing impairment and any pathology of VIIIth nerve which is the nerve of hearing. If clinical examination of ENT and other investigations do not indicate any pathology then tinnitus retraining therapy and certain medicines are helpful. You need to consult ENT doctor for all this.
