Why has my son got white spots in his eyes?
Q: My 7 years old son is having a white creamy coloured spot in the corner of both eyes. What is it?
A:This spot in the corners of the eyes is probably Bitot's spot which is caused by Vitamin A deficiency. When he was younger he must have had prolonged diarrhoea which causes malabsorption of vitamins and he get this creamy white spot which looks dry or some frothy deposit on it. This is not harmful but may not go even if he take vitamins now.
