Why do my eyes water when I sit in front of the computer?
Q: My eyes become itchy, reddish and start watering after sitting in front of the computer. It even leads to cold. What should I do?
A:The patient appears to be suffering from computer vision syndrome. Improving the lighting condition at work, frequent breaks by closing the eyes for 2 minutes every hour will help alleviate some of the symptoms. Mild dryness & allergies can be treated with lubricant eye drops and antihistaminic drops.
