Why do I sweat and shiver in the mornings?
Q: What causes sweating, weakness and shivering in hands and legs with numbness in the mornings? I am 43 years old, have tensions and take glyciphage.
A:You have mentioned that you also have tension and possible diabetes (you are taking Glyciphage). I suggest that you get your fasting blood sugar checked as well as at the time that you get these symptoms. Low blood sugar may cause the above symptoms. However, anxiety is the most common cause of this type of presentation. I suggest you resort to meditation and relaxation exercise as well as take anxiolytic drug in consultation with your physician.
