Why do I see a sphere while looking at things?

Q: I had an allergic conjunctivitis. I took an antibiotic drop (Viamox), an anti-allergic and Refresh Tears drops for three days, and the infection was cured. But after that whenever I try to see using only my right eye, I see a sphere in the middle of my vision. The sphere is of light brown colour (the colour of my eyes) and is almost the size of my eyeball. So anything that falls in the area of the sphere appears of light brown colour. The rest of my vision is clear. There is no problem in the left eye. I went back to my doctor. He said that there was a foreign body in the right eye, which he took out with a needle. But the problem with my right eyes still persists. What could be the reason?

A:The reason for your complaints may be a residual corneal opacity left at the site of the foreign body. Please consult your ophthalmologist for further management.
