Why are my child's teeth decaying?

Q: My daughter is 2-1/2 years old. Her four upper front teeth decayed near the gums and it has stopped growing. Rest of the teeth are healthy. Can you please tell me the reason for it and can you suggest me the required measure? Right now she is small but she may face problems in school, as when she smiles you see no teeth at all.

A:This seems to be rampant caries or baby bottle decay. These teeth need to be filled as soon as possible, if need be under General Anaesthesia. Stop the feeding from bottle if it is still being used. Start brushing her teeth twice daily.
