Why am I unable to conceive?
Q: I am a 30 years old married woman having polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) for the last seven years. I want to conceive. The doctor prescribed Duphaston, which I am taking for the last four months (10 days per month), but still no luck. It only helped me in regularising my periods. What should I do to conceive?
A:For achieving conception you need to take egg-forming drugs like Clomiphene or Letroz along with timed coitus or IUI (prepared semen- if semen is also not normal), follow up with a gynaecologist regularly. Conception can take from 3- 6 months. Weight reduction may also be necessary if the weight is more.
