Why am I not feeling hungry during pregnancy?
Q: I am a 30 years old female, into my 18th week of pregnancy. My ultrasound is normal but I am not feeling hungry. Will this affect the growth of my baby? I also suffer from constipation. Could that be the reason for not feeling hungry?
A:During pregnancy, each body responds differently to the new changes in the body. If you are feeling good and gaining proper weight, it is perfectly alright. Eat small dense meals every few hours instead of 3 big meals. Have lot of fluids, sprouts, whole grains & pulses, fruits, juices to relieve constipation. Drink about 10-12 glasses of water, include lot of fibre in your diet. At the end of pregnancy you should gain around 10-14 kgs of weight. So think positive, feel good & keep smiling throughout your pregnancy.
