Why am I not able to conceive?

Q: I am 34 years old and my husband is 36 years old. We got married nine months ago. What are the causes of infertility in men and women? If at all my husband is infertile, can he be treated? Is excessive masturbation in men from childhood a cause for their infertility? Why does his semen come out even when he ejaculates inside me? Is it the cause for my not being able to conceive? Is it a fact that both the partners should reach a climax point for conception?

A:Your questions are theoretical. There are many causes of infertility - usually one man has only one cause. A urologists consultation is required for a mans problem. There is treatment for infertility in men, and semen test is needed to know if a man is infertile. Masturbation has no bearing on fertility and is not a cause. There is no need for simultaneous orgasm - in fact orgasm is not required for conceiving. If you feel that semen flows out, it is not semen but the secretions which flow out. So first get his semen checked, and if it is normal, get yourself checked by a gynaecologist.
