Individual policies covering pre existing cover are offered by companies including Bajaj Allainz & Oriental Insurance. ICICI Lombard used to offer a cover for pre existing disease but last I knew they had discontinued this cover. Generally, there is a moratorium period (waiting period) before the coverage of the pre existing ailment begins and in this period there should be no hospitalisation on account of the declared ailment.
