Where can I go for a corneal implant?
Q: My friend has been advised by his doctor to get a cornea implant within a few months, as his vision in the left eye is considerably reduced. We have to find a donor also. Please advise how to go about this? Who is the best eye specialist in India and where? What are his chances of recovery after this implant?
A:You need to show to a Cornea specialist. You do not have to arrange any donor, only cadaver eyes are used. Consult at RP Centre in Delhi or LV Prasad at Hyderabad or Sankara Netralaya at Chennai.
