When can I resume work after Lasik surgery?
Q: I am a 26 years old male working in a software company. I have -3.75 and -4 power in the right and the left eye respectively. I am planning to go for Laser treatment. Can I work on the computer after the treatment? How long will it take to me to get back to work? Also, is Lasik surgery permanent?
A:Lasik treatment is commonly performed to treat refractive errors. You should be able to work on computers within a few days of lasik surgery. Results of lasik treatment are stable in most cases. A complete and thorough eye examination is mandatory to assess your suitability for lasik before your surgical plan is finalised.
