When can I resume normal activities after appendix removal?
Q: I recently had my appendix removed laproscopically. Its been 4 days now and I am feeling much better. How long should I wait to resume normal activities? Can I work out, go to work where I lift things and run around a lot? My boyfriend is coming home for the weekend and we were wondering if we can have sex.
A:Working and light work out should be alright for now as long as there is no pain, but heavy work including sex should wait for at least a month to six weeks.
