What precautions does one need to take for a twin pregnancy?
Q: My wife, 27 years old, is 2 months pregnant. We are having twins. What precautions do we need to take?
A:Twin pregnancy will need a regular and constant follow up with the doctor at every two weeks. A diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium and calories is what is needed, as complications like anaemia and high BP can develop. Enough rest to prevent early labour is also essential. The regular iron and calcium supplement is a must.
