What is wrong with my father's eye?
Q: My father who is 82 years old has started feeling as though there is something under his right eyelid since the last 7 days. Though it doesn't bother him much, the feeling is always there which is annoying. He feels this only when awake. Is it something serious? He has been taking ciplox for the last 14 days.
A:Yes it could be an ulcer on the cornea so potentially serious but it could be simply dry eyes or a small foreign body. It is potentially serious to use high power antibiotics like ciplox unnecessarily for so long..
