What is the treatment for side vision?
Q: My Dad is suffering with side vision. Can you please suggest the proper treatment or remedy for this?
A:What do you mean by suffering from side vision? If his field of vision is restricted on the side, this may be due to stroke, in which case this would be on only one side, either left or right side. This can be noticed with both eyes and is caused by damage to brain due to circulation problem. Nothing can be done about it but things can be done to improve his quality of life. Field of vision can be affected by quite a few other diseases like glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, etc and treatment depends on the cause of the problem.
