What is the schedule for Hepatitis A and B vaccines?

Q: What is the schedule for Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccinations? I am 37 years old having two sons aged 8 and 4 years. I took the first dose of Hepatitis A vaccine along with my wife and two sons last week. A friend told us that we need to take the second dose of Hepatitis A vaccination after one month and a third dose after six months. Only then the entire course for Hepatitis A vaccination will be complete. I was further advised to start the course of Hepatitis B vaccination after this. He said that I should take three vaccinations. Hence the interval between each vaccination should be 0-6-12 months. Is this the correct dose and correct gap between each vaccination?

A:The vaccination schedules are as below: Hepatitis A vaccine: 0 and 6 months (two doses six months apart) Hepatitis B vaccine: 0, 1 and 6 months (three doses, second after 1 month and third after 6 months). Kindly note that the adult and child doses are different.
