What is the reason for such high eye pressures?
Q: My left eye pressure is 18 and the right eye pressure is 23. What is the cause for this? Can this be reduced by medication or diet?
A:You could be having glaucoma. For this you should consult an eye specialist for repeated IOP measurements at different times of the day (Diurnal variation), get the Fields testing done as well as some other tests as indicated by the eye examination. It is a disease that requires regular topical medications and some times surgery, when the drops don't work.
