What is the reason for pseudophobia and excessive watering in both eyes?
Q: My grandmother has pseudophobia along with excessive watering in both eyes for the past several months. It is due to chronic conjunctivitis and mild corneal decomposition, for which she is under treatment. She has also undergone a cataract operation in both the eyes. Why is this happening?
A:The condition has been caused by corneal decompensation either due to corneal dystrophy or excessive ultrasound power used during operation for cataract by phacoemulsification.
