What is the difference between LASIK and LASER surgery?
Q: I am a 25 years old male have a very high eye power (right eye – minus 6.5 and left eye – minus 6.5). I am also suffering from cylindrical power – minus 0.5 in both eyes. I would like to know which is better - Laser or Lasik surgery? Can eye power be lowered naturally?
A:LASER (Light Amplification to Stimulate Emission of Rays) or LASIK (Laser in Situ Keratomaleusis) are the same things and Lasik would be suitable for you to correct your myopia. You were borne with myopia but it got detected about 10 yrsw of your age.
